An absolutely perfect afternoon out on the lake today: sunny, upper 70s, nice breeze, warm water. I floated peacefully on two noodles, utterly content, then went back on the pontoon boat to eat chips and dip and grapes and cherries and watermelon and speak in a heavy accent.
MissSeven and Mr12 were very happy to get turns piloting the boat. Please to enjoy this little representational video.
After, a trip to Marshall's to buy a new pair of jeans and some swell undies, then another giant home-cooked meal with ham, corn on the cob, fresh tomatoes, and five thousand different desserts. There could hardly be a better day for me, really.
